As the Spark program is drawing to a close, Leo Scarff – this year’s creative – and his collaboration with Mohill Enterprise Centre is moving into it’s final phase. The workshops Leo has organised with the FabLab in Manorhamilton have progressed very well and the 7 participants have been laser cutting and 3D printing in recent weeks with interesting results.

Leo has also been making a series of new artworks and designs which he will be exhibiting in one of the remodelled warehouse units at MEC in early May. The results of the FabLab workshops will also be on display along with a document of notes and information compiled by Leo over the course of the program. It is intended that several elements of the exhibition will go on permanent display at MEC to demonstrate the Spark/MEC collaboration.
