Our full time learners are almost at the end of their journey with us here in Mohill Enterprise Centre.  With only two modules left to complete the excitement is building.

Learners have completed nine modules to date including Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Image Processing and Web Authoring to name but a few.

Work Experience

Today, the learners leave the centre for three weeks to embark on their work experience in various local settings. This is a chance to put their newly learned and developed skills into practice. We are looking forward to their return and hearing all about their experiences.

A massive thank you to all of the employers who continually support our learners every year by offering work placements.  Without your support, this opportunity for the learners would not be possible.

Also, we would like to wish each and every one of our learners the best of luck during your work experience and we know that you will do brilliantly.

New Module

Upon their return, the learners will begin a brand new module added to the course this year, Programming Design Principles.  This module will introduce learners to the concept of computer programming and equip them with the skills and techniques required to design, code and test practical applications.  Participating in such a module will allow learners access a different aspect of IT and develop their skills further.  It is also a chance for learners to assess if the area of programming and design is one they would like to learn more about in the future.
