Autumn is fast approaching and it is at this time of year that many of us decide to be both proactive and constructive and undertake further education, be it a full-time course or part-time morning or evening training course.
At Mohill Computer Training we provide a variety of courses all of which commence in early autumn. Our full-time Computer Applications for the Workplace course starts on October 12th and if you’re interested why not get in contact with us, there’s still time.
A number of part-time evening courses in various disciplines ranging from computing, social media, business and photography to sewing are also available and will be commencing this autumn. These part-time evening courses are a great option if you are looking to upskill or improve your career prospects without having to change too much in your daily life.
If you are looking to bring innovation and creativity to your work life we have a new business course which focuses on providing individuals and businesses with the essential tools needed to be more innovative and creative. This course suits both those contemplating starting their own business and existing small businesses that understand that innovation and creativity lead to success in business.
Calling all farmers…This autumn we also have a series of courses exclusively for farmers to help them with the ever increasing paperwork and computer base form filling. Don’t delay as places on this course are limited.
Two further courses that we have added to our schedule are:
Beginners’ Sewing Class:
This class is suitable for those new to sewing. You will learn how to use a sewing machine, understand the use of all the sewing tools and how to work with different types of fabrics, and learn to do basic alterations – taking up a pair of jeans or trousers, replacing a broken zip, inserting elastic and so on.
This is a 5 week course, running once a week for 2 hours. Cost €90.
Beginners’ Dressmaking Class:
On this course you will learn to understand and work with a commercially-designed pattern, how to adjust it to your personal size and to complete a project. As it is a beginners’ course relatively easy projects are chosen, e.g. a skirt or a simple top.
The course runs for 8 weeks, once a week, 3 hours long. Cost €140.
